The Shrine of
the Bab, one of Haifa's most prominent landmarks, is the
Faith's second holiest Shrine. It is the resting-place of
the Báb, regarded by Baha'is as a Messenger of God whose
primary mission was to prepare the way for the coming of
Bahá'u'lláh.
Welcome to Bahistory, a place
where you will be able to study the
Persons,
Places,
Tablets and the
Events,
shaping the history of the Bábi and Bahá'í Faiths.
Our main purpose is to inspire the visitor to study the
history further on their own or together with friends.
This site is always under construction,
we try to add functions as we go along, and you are more than welcome
to contribute in a variety of ways.
At the moment we are especially grateful if you are interested in
adding articles to the site.
Bahistory is currently being filled
with new articles and new information. If you find some errors
